perfluoro-(4-methyl-2-pentene), also known as Perfluoro(4-methyl-2-pentene), molecular weight: 300.05, boiling point: 53-61℃, density 1.622g/cm3, is a colorless and slightly fragrant transparent liquid. It is a new environmentally friendly solvent used for precision cleaning, electronic cleaning, metal cleaning and aerosol. It is currently recognized as the ideal alternative to hydrofluorocarbon fire extinguishing agents such as heptafluoropropane - material of PERFLUORO (2-METHYL-3-PENTANONE).
